In our libraries you can do a lot of different things. Here we list what you can do and we tell you how it works.

Digital Support

If you are struggling to afford monthly data Libraries can help by providing free mobile data at Bell Green, Central, Foleshill, Stoke and Tile Hill Libraries.

Computers and Wi-Fi

All Libraries provide two hours free access to computers each day plus unlimited access to a free Wi-Fi Service. At Central, Foleshill and Tile Hill Libraries we also offer free tablets that you can use in the Library

Books in many languages

Libraries have books, magazines and journals in many different languages. When searching for books, you can choose to display only books that are in a specific language.

Housebound Library Service

The Housebound Library Service is free and available to any person who has a disability which makes them housebound, so they are unable to get to a Library, and live within the boundary of Coventry.

Family History

Libraries provide access to family history research tools including Ancestry and Find My Past via our public computers. Please check out the What's On events listing as there may be family history help sessions at one of our Libraries.

Children and Teens

We offer a wide range of services for children and young people, from books to enjoy to books to help with homework. All Libraries have collections of books for children from board books and picture books for the very young, to books for teenagers and graphic novels. Central Library also has a dedicated Teen Zone.
