Join the library
Obtaining a library card from us is free. With a library card, you can borrow books, DVDs, CDs and other materials as well as download e-books, e-audiobooks, e-newspapers and e-magazines.
You can join online if you are aged 16 and over.
If you are under 16 please visit your local library to join.
To join the library:
- Choose your local library from the list
- Complete the form
- Click Create Account
- A confirmation message will appear with a link to 'My Profile'
- Click on the My Profile link and make a note of your library card number under the option 'My account at Coventry Libraries'
This card number and the PIN you chose are your key to a range of services. - You can start requesting titles and using the online services straight away
- Visit your local library to pick up your physical library card.
You need to provide recent proof of name and address with you. - You will be given a physical card with the same PIN.
